Via the M6
Leave Spaghetti Junction (junction 6) and enter Birmingham via A38M. Keep to the right at all points where the road divides (going over one overpass and under 3 underpasses - about 4 miles) until you reach the first set of traffic lights. Turn right (into Lee Bank Middleway), go up the hill and turn left at the traffic lights (about 800 yards), using the slip road to enter Wheeleys Road. After about half a mile Wheeleys Road changes into Arthur Road. You will pass a small shopping precinct on your left and a large block of flats on your right. The Calthorpe Clinic is the second building on the right past the flats.
Via the M5
Leave the motorway at junction 4 and follow the A38 (Bristol Road) towards Birmingham; you'll pass through Longbridge, Northfield and Selly Oak. After about 7 miles, look out for the Birmingham University gates on the left. Shortly after this, you will see the Gun Barrels pub. Turn left into Edgbaston Park Road and follow the road for about a mile to some traffic lights. On passing straight through these you are in Arthur Road. The Clinic is 200 yards down on the left.
Go to www.highways.gov.uk for alternative routes into Birmingham. Also www.centro.org.uk gives local travel (car, bus, train, coach) information.
Via the Hagley Road A456
Junction 3 M5 - Leave the M5 at junction 3 and head into Birmingham along the A456. After about 4 miles, you come to Five Ways. Don't go on the underpass; stay above ground and take the fourth exit from the roundabout into Calthorpe Road. Go ahead, keeping to the left through one pedestrian light and one set of traffic lights. Calthorpe Road becomes Church Road. At the next set of traffic lights, turn left into Arthur Road.
From the Airport
By taxi, the journey is approximately 15 miles.
Alternatively, you can take a train from Birmingham International into New Street Station in the City Centre.
