This method is suitable for women up to 9 weeks of pregnancy and can be administered as soon as the pregnancy test shows positive. Two appointments are needed to take the two separate tablets; the second appointment can be anything from 6 hours - 3 days after the first tablet is taken (whatever is most convenient for you). Long-acting reversible contraception (Depo Provero or Implanon) can be given at your second EMA appointment.
