Trichomoniasis
Trichomoniasis is a common sexually transmitted infection caused by a tiny parasite called a Trichomonas vaginalis. It is a single-celled organism that latches onto the lining of the vagina and forms tendrils that enter the vaginal tissue. if left untreated it can increase your susceptibility to getting prostate cancer, cervical cancer and HIV; in addition, babies can be born with a lower birth weight.
How do you catch it?
